I was actually looking at a different book and loved this title. And it does live up to it's name. Every mother should read it and pass it to her daughter. It goes into many things we forgot to tell them. Works for mothers too!

The book was an enormously motivating read and got straight to the point. It skipped the "why" nonsense of dating issues and went straight for the jugular to the "just do it" aspects of meeting new people. The principles of personal attraction just aren't sytematically taught to everyone. Flirting is not an academic course, but should be, and common sense can be terribly uncommon. Most self-help books are far too long-winded, but Valerie breaks it down. However, a word of caution, her steps work. Don't make the mistake I made of openly applying her steps anywhere near public transportation. Location, location, location .... I could not have said it better myself. Her next book should titled "How to Adjust the Volume, Apply Filters and Limit Your Feminine Energy to Only Those People You Are Actually Interested In Dating" because I assure you there will be no shortage of offers.

ROMANCE AROUND THE CORNER is a clever little book that was given to me as a Christmas gift--by my mother! She read it, enjoyed it, and recommended it so highly that I just had to read it also. WOW!!! The author, Valerie Beck, practically takes your hand and walks you through the steps toward meeting Mr. Right. Anyone can follow this creative plan, including me--an overworked, single physician.
Simply by improving my wardrobe and smiling more, I have improved my outlook on life, thanks to Ms Beck. Plus, by following her plan, I am actually dating again!
In conclusion, I give "2 thumbs up" to this cute, pink book and have purchased several for my single girlfriends-just $12.95 for the paperback!

I am so glad I found this site -- I need this book, I have always lamented how I only seem to attract men by chance, never the ones I want to, I need HELP! Sincerely, rose.macbride@gmail.com

Dear Valerie,
The book works! I started reading Romance Around the Corner with some skepticism after my boyfriend of nearly 3 years dumped me right before we were supposed to be engaged. I was heartbroken and a big mess. But I decided to give it a try... leave my house, turn up the feminine energy, think positive. So I forced myself out into the world and ended up meeting the man of my dreams! Tall, handsome, a kind spirit, and he treats me like a lady. This one is a MAN... not a boy...ladies you will know what this is when you meet a real one. So, Valerie THANK YOU for writing the book that we all needed to read. You really belong on Oprah girl!

Hello Valerie,

I just dropped by here to say hi and to say congratulations on everything you're doing! You're really making your tracks towards success. You're definitely one of the kinds of people who not only "thinks BIG" about what you set out to do, but you also "act BIG" with everything you do. In my opinion, this is why you're so successful. ;-> I think you're also on your way to fame and great fortunes as well!

I'm always proud to support everything you do. I thank you once again for supporting The Topaz Club. I know I'm going so far as to speak for our other TTC sisters, but we're proud that you're a part of the TTC family.

Much TTC love to ya!

Arana (Founder of The Topaz Club)
